Mr Hans Van Der Voorn
Hans van der Voorn is an engineer and entrepreneur, originally from New Zealand, now based in Oxford. He is the founding investor and CEO of Izon Science. Prior to that he was the founder and CEO of Nova Gas Ltd in New Zealand, since renamed Nova Energy. Nova is an energy retailer and has a portfolio of power stations, gas pipelines and LPG assets.

Dr Alisa Selimovic
Alisa is a Corporate Development Associate at Circassia, a specialty biopharmaceutical company, where her key task is the evaluation of potential licencing and acquisition opportunities in line with Circassia's strategy for growth. Prior to joining Circassia, Alisa completed a DPhil in Biomedical Engineering at Oxford, and transitioned from the academic to the commercial side of healthcare by joining a boutique healthcare consultancy as an analyst.

Dr Trent Basarsky
Basarsky, Ph.D. was most recently the Vice President of Corporate Development at ProteinSimple, a company focused on protein analysis tools, where he managed Corporate Development, Marketing and Intellectual Property. Prior to that Dr. Basarsky served as Director of Corporate Development at Codexis Inc., a cleantech company focused on next generation biofuels and pharmaceutical manufacturing. Prior to Codexis, Dr. Basarsky was the Director of Corporate and Business Development of Molecular Devices. He also held positions in marketing, product management, business development and intellectual property at Axon Instruments, a life science instrumentation company that was acquired by Molecular Devices. Dr. Basarsky received a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Iowa State University, a B.Sc. in Zoology from the University of Alberta and is a registered patent agent.
